Beautiful Blue Eyes and a Bath Story

Look at those beautiful baby blues. They are so blue, we're starting to wonder if they may stay light after all...

These were taken after the little angel got a bath after her quick swim in the pool. And speaking of baths... here's a story for the baby book: The night before this we had a mommy and me bath where I decided I would get in the tub with her. Chris came home from basketball and hopped in the shower... Finley was propped against my knees in the tub, smiling away, listening to Daddy tell us about his day. I was totally relishing this little family moment and even joked with Chris that if it wasn't indecent and nearly impossible, I would have photographed it. It was one of those great "little moments" for me. And then Finley brought me right back down to earth by having a HUGE poop blow-out right on me in the tub filled with gallons of water. We cracked up and Finley was quite proud of herself smiling and trying to laugh along with us. It was downright disgusting, but hilarious.

2 months old!

I can't believe she's 2 months old! Here I think she was trying to scrunch her body up next to her doll that I'm always comparing her to as she grows... I think she was trying to make me feel better, but there's no denying she's growing so fast. We had her 2 month old check-up and first shots (OUCH!) but she did really great and is back to her happy self. She is now 9.6 lbs. (25 percentile) and 23 1/4 " long (75th percentile).

She's got so much to say these days...

Growing UP

Finley now likes to sit up in her sling rather than laying down cradled. She looks around and talks... its adorable. I tried to take some photos of her in it while Chris was out of town... I may have gotten the floor and a bit of her hand :). So we got these when he came back. She also figured out the other day how to get from her tummy to her back which I caught on video. Oh my, the video and pictures we could bore you with! :)

New Mobile

Finley loves her new mobile... I was going to try to make one but decided with all the scrapbooking I have to do, we would buy one. And I'm glad we did, she loves it.

Coming Soon

Megan and I have several photos belly to belly and now that Finley is here and Trey will be here any day now, we had to do one belly to baby :). We cannot wait to meet him!

Mother's Day

Daddy got the sweet girl all ready to go to Church for Mother's Day. She loved it especially the loud music and slept like an angel.

Bumbo Baby

Sweet Finley has done it-- she's slept through the night! She slept 7 hours before this was taken!! Here she is bright-eyed in her Bumbo seat. She slept like an angel and then woke up smiling. I'm mush.
