Baby in the Basket on her 5 month Birthday. Its been a pretty busy few weeks for us, but we're doing great. Two weeks ago we celebrated the marriage of cousin Shannon and Rob. It was a beautiful wedding and Finley and Nana had a fun night together while mom and dad were out. The next day we got to visit with family we haven't seen in a long time, especially cousin Shay, Chris and their 4 little ones (Brad, Cole, Blake, & Ella). They're adorable and it was fun watching them play with Finley. The oldest 3 definitely have the big brother thing down. I'll try to get some pictures from Grandma to post (I forgot my camera!). Last week we celebrated Rachel and Baby-Koen-to-be (soon!) at a baby shower at our house. This past weekend we went to see Michelle and the boys-to-be at the hospital to celebrate her making it to the 31 week mark. She's been there 5 weeks now and doing so great. She's helping the boys get bigger and stronger so when they are born they can come home sooner to play! :) That night we went to see Christine, Ryan and Jacob and some of their friends. That was fun... Jacob is such a big boy, its hard to tell now we're the same age. The next day, for my 5 month birthday, we had a play day with Megan and Trey while the big boys went fishing. It was Trey's 10 week birthday and he's bigger than Finley! He gave Finley some diapers he's grown out of, which is pretty funny considering she's more than twice his age! Oh well... boys will be boys. We went to the mall and of course we all got some new clothes (Girls will be girls!). It was a great weekend!
I'm growing lots of new fuzzy soft hair and filling out a bit. (Maybe not as much as Jacob and Trey, but really, those boys are BIG! I can't possibly keep up with them.) :)
My eyes are still a heart-melting blue and my smile appears to be contagious.
I'm very curious about all the sounds and sights going on around me right now. I can turn to find sounds and will turn my head if you call my name.
